El Paso Family Law Attorney

Paula L. Thomas is a native El Pasoan. She was raised in the lower valley on a cotton farm off Island Road in Fabens. Her father was a cotton farmer; her mother was a high school Spanish teacher. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Texas in Plan II, and later attended law school at UT and Texas Tech. She speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Paula is board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and has more than thirty years of family law experience. She has been involved in more than five thousand cases and has counseled approximately twenty-five thousand people with regard to their family legal problems. She believes it is really important to assess a case properly and be straightforward with clients. Paula believes that, if at all possible, people should handle their cases in a respectful way in order to preserve long-term family relationships.
